Procedures will fail with error messages e.g “SimLock data writing failed” and
“Product detection enabled but Simlock/product code failed “.
When tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.40 delivered in the Tucson Add on package
2008_50_2 is replaced by these newer versions it is possible to detect the
phones which are affected by this problem (with version 1.0.041) and perform
Product code change or certificate restoring (with version 1.0.042)
This workaround must be used until product programs release new product
software versions which correct this problem.

If you experience “Failed to write response data” and “Phone sw doesn't
support used simlock version “ – errors you need to change the tcsclient.dll
version 1.0.0.42 back to version 1.0.0.41
Please keep both versions on the PC which yo use for Tucson procedures,
and replace them in Phoenix installation directory as required.
- Standard version 1.0.041works with:
- Phone models supporting SIM Lock versions 1 and 2, which means
most phone models available.
- Special version 1.0.042 works with:
- Phone models which support SIM Lock version 1
- Phone models which request SIM Lock version 2 due to produce SW
implementation and fail when data in format 2 is written in phone.
- This version does not support phones with SIM Lock version 2

Soon all our problems with SL3 rpl will be solved.
