Strange 6234 camera problem ... - GSM-Forum

I have at me 6234 , flashed to 5.43 with strange problem - do not store camera pictures. What is a catch - video is OK - record, stop, play, replay, but on still images you can see picture, make focus and when press to capture picture, then operation failed and picture is not stored and camera go on standby.

So - what can be wrong - already flashed, downgraded / upgraded, tested with few CNT packs, flashed like 6233 - same situation, flashed with forced 128k - same.

In begining i think that there a MMC problem, but not - same situation with MMC and without ( if phone memory is used ) ... next was to format drive C and D and reflash without CNT - there a success - camera work and store pictures, but empty galery and missing sounds and themes ect... next was to try to flash with content, but after this to delete some preinstaled elemenths in galery - again no success ...

Each time same result - do not matter what tool is used - MT, JAF or Phoenix, also what conection - USB or F-Bus.

So - any hint is welcome!

THIS phones wiche based on original nokia software got a very strange problem (non symbian) just like 6280 6300 6233 6234 , ....etc i faced many problem with no soloution i don't know why but it really confuses me.

No way by software, only change flash ic.

just try to give it a slight reflow, cause faults like that is "normally" hardware and some of the costomers are not hornest to tell you that the phone fell down or... so be very carefull when flashing. It just might die permanently..
