Unable to change Product Code in NOKIA 6700c (RM-470)

I was able to flash my fone with the latest Phoenix, however I am not able to change the Product Code to the new variant I flashed. I tried several software, including NSS, J.A.F, even Phoenix, also tried different modes, NORMAL, TEST, LOCAL MODE, the writing process seems to be fine (no error messages from either of the software) but when I re-read the Product Code, it pops up the old one. Anyone knows a trick how to change it ? Or is it kinda new security measure from NOKIA that we cannot change Product Code anymore ???

Thanks,
S.

OK a little update. I knew already, it is unable to change product code over USB connection. So I tried over FBUS (after a long struggle to get my FBUS cable working with this fone). Unfortunately even over FBUS I wasn't able to change phone's Product Code. I tried, Normal, Test and even Local Mode. The result is same, JAF behaves like it performed a successful write, but when I re-read the code, it comes back with the old original one.I am wondering... no one knows answer to this ??? Is this really some new protection scheme from NOKIA ???
