Unlock 6300 with dku-5 - GSM-Forum

A few months back i put together a dku-5 cable that i used to unlock a nokia n70 i had a connector for the pop port hooked up to some gator clips coming from the box and it worked a treat.

Now however i have a nokia 6300 which has no pop port so i was wondering if i could unlock it with this homemade cable????

No, you need F-Bus cable.

Thanks Nasirahmed, your advice is most helpful. I have a schematic for a combi cable. It's pretty straight forward so I was thinking about giving it a go. Here's the schematic.

I'll let you know if it works for me.

you are wasting your times with this !!! better buy an interface like JAF / UFS and unlock ur phone

Thanks for the advice mrx3net but I'm the kind of person who loves to experiemtn whatever the cost or outcome. So I'll just keep experimenting and see how things pan out. As for the Diagram above I've decided to leave it and try an alternative version which is similar but not identical. If i do have any luck i'll post them.

Hi again, okay iv'e put together the fbus cable needed I only have one question left. Do i connect via the usb or do i go with the test points on the board?
