Urgent help required please N95 8GB - GSM-Forum

Hi all

Just got the Nokia N95 8GB. Nice phone. 1st thing i did was install some games and an antivirus program. This program required a reboot of the phone.

After reboot phone freezes at main screen. I have tried taking battery out for 10 minutes but has same results.

Is there a way to boot the phone bypassing installed programs?
I have tried connecting to PC by usb cable but phone not recognised.

Does anyone have a working solution please?

Try to format the phone or do Full Factory Settings.

Cannot do reformat as all keys are frozen. Phone boots to main screen then freezes so i cannot do anything on phone. I always have to take battery out for a reset.

you can try the following but be warned that you will loose all data in your phone, unless you have a backup...

1) Remove the battery, and then wait for about 20 min or so before putting it back

2) Press and hold these three keys together -Green dial key, Star key[*], Three key [3]

3) switch ON the phone.

4) Do not let go the three keys until you see the WELCOME screen displayed and just let it complete the boot process

i have same case freezeson boot , flashed many times but nothing helps

most these problems comes from flex.....
also this problem comes in N95 rm-159

change it is strip then post result....

first say to when the phone become freezed then keypad is working or not ?

if keypad working then try to change strip (flex) then post result....
