user code can not be removed even after flashing - GSM-Forum

I have got a nokia 5200(RM-174).On starting it wants Security code.I have flashed it with HWK.But the code is not removed and also not set the user code to 123456.This phone donot take UI Setting.I thik 5200 don't take UI Setting.What to do????????????Please help......................

Phone must be on local mode to remove user code

use 7pin test mode cable

try to put 4.7k rasistence betwen bsi andgnd then put batter and try to powr on your phon phon goes in localmode now put usb cabl on phon and make all fectry seting in jaf code will be gone

thanks all for replying.I have solved my problem by changing the cable.

But can someone tell me what really the problem with the old cable????I can not understand why my old cable was taking flashing well bot not UI setting????
