I have an ericsson 2618 and is working bad

It swiching off and imediatly on and wants pin code randomly

I want to know if this situation is hardware or software and if could be fix it

I cleaned n times and the same like before each time

Any sugestions ?

Is not software because I put eep and flash from another one witch is working well

Maybe try getting a multimeter and checking battery voltage and shake around while testing, see if the battery pack is damaged :/ Could be a damaged pack, but doubt it....

Hello all

I think problem solved

I just heated three times motherboard (flash ram cpu power source ) and until now is working fine ( no switch off ) from 8 hous ago but I wait until tomorow to see if is still working

If is working is problem solved

My 2618 quickly shuts down everytime i turn it on. I thought it's a dead set but, when I insert charger, it turns on, ask for a pin code, shows the animated logo and... shuts down again. Should I buy a new battery pack ? (haven't tested other battery) or hardware problem?

Hi people!!

Im new to this forum- i found this site while i was trying to find a solution to a problem which has been harrassing me.

Anyways my A2618 has recently decided to break down.
I left it on my desk and for some reason or other it shut down automatically. It now doesnt turn on except for when it turns on/off automatically. The screen also seems to be a bit dodgy.

I really need help as i need this phone a lot! I cant afford to buy a new one. The problem is that i know nothing about electronics in phones and i dont want to open it yet if i dont know what to do...

I read the previous reply but i dont understand what he means-could someone please send me detailed set of instructions on how to fix this?
