2618 yes button not working

2618 yes button not working, but the keyboard matrix is all O.K.
Any ideas.

I have reflowed the board, I have cleaned the matrix, I have also chained the keypad for a known working one.

Yes the film is wornout...

If its the same design as my GF768 (yes i replaced this with my T20e not too long ago but she was a good phone that I still hold onto with great pride LOL) then u should be able to take the clear film out and paint it with conductive paint (where the silver paint was)

This should fix it (I never tried it on mine cause it was too old to spend the time/money on but I am almost certain this will be an easy fix) and if it doesnt just clean it off
