ATR 5.3 Instructions - GSM-Forum

Does anyone have any instructions on how to use the ATR 5.3 software to unlock the R380w.
Also could you confirm whether it is possible to do it with the cable supplied in the box.

All help will be much appreciated.

I cannot get the eprom info

All I get is a time out when trying to read the eprom.

Does the supplied cable enable it to be unlocked. I know the cable is ok as I can connect to it to synchronise therfore the com port is ok also, but just cannot connect using the atr program.

OS is win 98

No, the cables DRS-10 and DRS-11 cannot be used for unlocking.

Standard T28 unlocking cable. It's schematics are free on the net.

hi there,
1. how can u read the flash file and then find the code?

2. I did write EE my phone with 00w48eep.bin file

the result is that the phone now is SP-locked
It says insert the correct sim card.

I tryed the ATR 5.0, 5.2 and 5.3
I tryed to Unlock it
yet the progs says it is ok and the phone is unlocked but , it is still sp-locked
I don't know may be I shall unlock it to some Net but what is the codes to my net MCC+MNC
I don't know

by the way I do have a working phone ( totally functional )

what can I do ??
do U have any Idea??

You must flash the phone also, not only change the eeprom...

good U mean that I have to use both *.bin &*.sbn
but what to do first
EEPROM then Flash
or
Flash then EEPROM
about the files I do have then at home.
as soon as I come home I will send them to U
if u r still interested.
