HELP! Need to flash a T28 WORLD! - GSM-Forum

Hey there!

Got a T28 WORLD phone that is Tamperlocked in the EEPROM.

I've been told I need to flash the phone and change the IMEI code, but don't know how to build the cable.
Could anyone please snd me instuctions/diagrams to me plz?

Thx very much for your reply. - Looks somewhat confusing!

What exactly do you connect to the pins and whatnot?
Some type of electrical cable?

Humm.. If you can't assemble the cable yourself, i sugest you buy one. It's easier, and it's not that expensive.

lol that sounds like an idea!

Would you be able to suggest where I can pick a cable to re-write the EEPROM on the phone and remove the 'Insert Correct Card' message from the phone?

Hi.

There are many on-line stores, just check the sales forum.

Then i would advise you to use ATR 5.x by zulea. And using the repair function (if uploading new eeprom doesn't solve your problem).

BTW, you'll need a flash file if you decide to use "Repair" function.
