Help!!! tampered on a SH888 - GSM-Forum

Help,

Tried to unlock a SH888 no software that I can find will upload or down load a flash.

What software can I use and where can I get a full flash for this phone?

Have tried that but it won't flash the phone it will only get the codes for keyboard unlocking (the codes were corrupt and could not use them originally).

Need some software to flash the phone and somewhere to download the flash files.

Any help most appreciated. I am now desperate.

hi,
you need ericsson tool by saras. it is old, but working.
you can find it everywhere.

it has the op[tion --kindly check again---

well if that not work -- than mail me i send u some other sw for that---

but first try uspu -- it has the option 100%

I din't explain it properly, sorry my fault.

Using uspu 4.38 I can flash the phone but when I try to upload the eeprom the program halts at the start where it asks to switch phone on. The phone switches on as if no cable connected and the software times out. But flashing the main code, the software works ok when phone is switched on? The phone has had the battery removed and connected, software tried on 3 PC's of different speed. I can't get uspu 4.38 to flash the eeprom.

I have tried to use Saras Ericsson Tool. It will download and upload the eeprom (file format seems to be different between uspu 4.38 and Saras!) but generates an error part of the way through when trying to download the flash file. Seems to work better on slower PC but still an error.

Does anyone knows where I can get flash and eeprom files for the 888.
