R250 Pro has Handy Talkie function ? - GSM-Forum

hello ...

i just got this phone, some friends of mine said that this r250 pro has the handy talkie function, is this correct ? coz i already search all the menus and read all the manual, but i can't find that function ... is there any secret ways to activate it or it really doesn't has that function

any answers will be appreciated, thanks

Hi

Ericsson did build a type of 2way radio feature into the R250 pro , but this feature is network and sim dependant.

Hi

You cant activate it.

To use this feature you need a special sim card thats supports GSM Pro.
GSM Pro is an extended feature of phase 2+ GSM networks which gives users of the R250 PRO access to most of the functions and features of Private Mobile Radio (PMR) & Public Access Mobile Radio (PAMR) networks
Most GSM networks do not provide this extended feature , speak to your service provider for more info on GSM Pro or more commonly known as PRO Server.
