Does anybody know how i can remove the simlock of the Ericsson R250pro? I haven't found any program for this phone.

As i had 2 pieces of R250 S PRO i tried to unlock them and here we go:

1. No soft available for theese phones,i didnt found it..
2. Saras 1.7 detects it like 868S phone...
3. So i flashed it and it was still locked..
4. I uploaded eeprom from 868S and flashed it with 868 flash and voila ,now phone is unlocked and working....
But...

When i call someone i dont hear nothing.....
Even when someone calls me back i dont hear nothing.....
I didnt tested the phone if it was wroking before so i dont know if it is hardware or software problem......
Anyone has experience....???

The Ericsson R250s PRO is rugged enough for difficult situations or industrial settings( 868 inside !). It is designed to withstand harsh treatment and is water, dust and shock resistant. A protective ePTFE membrane developed by Gore & Associates protects the internal mechanism. Its body is built around a sturdy magnesium alloy frame that has been further reinforced with a tough, rubber casing.

As you say it is 868 inside.....
So why i cannot hear anything now that i have flashed it with 868 software to unlcok it???
Everything else is woprking fine........
Just this problem about hearing........thats all.......
I have flashed many 868 phones and all work fine......
But thjis r250 has problem now with hearing........

R250 pro -> phone have other bootloader .
Can be flashed with emma sw without problems

Ihave emmashell ,emma flasher for 868 and emma.exe....
Which one to use and how to use it?
I installed it but dont find it on programs......
Does it need crack?

r250 pro can be flashed with Emma II software . To remove SP lock ->Put new eeprom in to phone and flash with emma .
No problema .

Nice idea to flash with EMMAII !

Problem: There aren't many people who have EMMA II! Or they don't have dongle and smart card.

If you upload clean EEPROM and flash it with sara's you'll get unremovable TAMPERED if you try to change IMEI!

Only way I found out is to make a clone of a free R250s. But I'll try out the soft posted somewhere higher!

Prog seems to be a hoax!!!!!!

No reaction! It's with all selections or mobile phone types the same!

Prog shows nothing at statusfield and doesn't entertestmode on mobiles............

The best way to unlock a R250s is to clone another free phone and then to restore original RF/bat calibration values - changing them does not tamper the phone.

When I clone it it works fine, BUT by changing IMEI to original it gets TAMPERED!

I made a backup of EEPROM and firmware with sara's 1.7.

Is there any other suitable flashreader for this kind of mobile??

The phone after cloning only seems to be ok. It is uncalibrated and does not work well - it has problems when used in areas with worse gsm coverage. You may also encounter a phone that will not log to the network after cloning. That's the reason of copying the calibration data.

Saras 1.7 is the only program I know for flash downloading from R250s.
