t18s can't connect to the bootstrap - GSM-Forum

I have a dead t18s. I try to fix it with ATR 5.30. ATR can detect the phone as Tx or r310, but failure to connect to the bootstrap. I try ericsson maker 1.6 by bartek and it only can detect phone as t18 but fail to check the other info (IMEI etc.) and prompt me to check the cable connection. Any suggests anyone ???

Try again with full charged battery. If no change, use Eric-Varanius
and tell what happens!

I had charged it for about 2 hours.... still not working, i check the connector and clean it.... not working....
any other suggest ?

If so OK. The alimentation for bootstrap must be from battery not from +5V extern poer. Try soldering wires directly to the phone's board.

I'm using ericsson 688/788/t10/t18 data cable with no external power, not an auto ignition data cable. Do u think something wrong with my handy's battery ?

You must use a modified cable with external power and with autoignition. Searche the web for schematic!
