T28 flash till 99% and... error??? - GSM-Forum

Hi all. I have t28s amd t28world , both can not suitch on.
When I flash them , eeprom area everethings went OK. Bat when I flash them , flash area both stands at 99% and program gives me error. I use atr5.3 , and many times tasted eeprom and flash files. Plase help me with your advice.

Use Varanius 0.11, worked 100%.

I got exactly the same error as you using ATR 5.3 with a Win98 computer. I don't know if there's a feature of the T28 World that makes ATR fail.

If you need Varanius let me know.

Flashing with varanius not solve problem . The phone is still dead,
and because of that I think it is hardware problem, but dont know what to check??????

First upload EEPROM, then flash. The eeprom and flash files must be compatible... don't ask me what that means... but not every eeprom works with any flash file.

I tried several combinations until finally one worked (it was a T28s flash, but better than nothing).

Do you have flash files to play around with?

I uploaded both eeprom and flash files with Varanius.
Also... better charge the battery fully before doing anything.

YOUR PROBLEM IS DRY JOINTS UNDER YOUR FLASH AND RAM I.C"S.APPLY LOTS OF FLUX AND RE-HEAT.THEN FLASH PHONE WITH USPU 4.38R CRACKED BY XAK.I HAVE REPAIRED MANY PHONES LIKE THIS BEFORE.THIS FAULT IS ALSO COMMON ON A1018S.
