t28s cable and howto?

Old Ericsson Phones & Sony Phones ALL Ericsson OR SONY Phones are here, you Can't Find "SonyEricsson" in there. only SONY old phones or Ericsson old Phones.. do we need to say it again :)

So the thing is that i have t28s and datacable (RS-232, DRS-11), and i woud like to activate the "net monitor" in my phone. Some discussions in here said that i must short pins 9 and 11 from datacable and some says something else... whats the solution? And if i can i do it with my cable with few shortcuts how do i do it? shoud i have sim-card and battery in my phone? shoud the phone be on or off? shoud the charcher be connected ? what program shoud i use, is altserv 5.0 ok? and when the cables and else is ok phone off or on etc... how do u do it? shoud i unlock the phone or is it just : bush the Ch on and its it?? --newbie-
