unlock ga688

have unlocked this type of phone before... this one shows blank on the screen after

<**<... press yes... me.... yes....then just blank...

do i need to upload eeprom? what sw to use for this type of phone? tried search but doesnt work! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Hello, i take that that baby has been unlocked already. All Ericssons go off when &lt;**&lt; is entered as long as there is no SIM card in the fone. It is of no alarm

ur phone is ga688---ok--- its sim locked--<br />nothing to worry .....<br />i m sending u the sw for that...check ur mail...

problem solved, i used electroboy to flash file <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

but now when i insert another sim it shows 112 ONLY? it can only be used in one of our networks... but the phone is unlocked?

To trafix,<br />maybe its stupid answer:<br />doesn't activated security by using another card in phone settings?

i dunno, but have experienced this on a 1018 when i upload eeprom... phone is fixed but can only accept one out of our 3 netwoks?! and shows 112 Only when i insert other network sims...
