First Smart Unlocker Question? C975

C975 locked to Orange
Smart unlocker box
Boot loader 0.6.1.0
SW R24_U_80.2F.61.02P

connect phone, press unlock.
phone powers down and goes into boot mode.
Shows above details plus

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode : USB

Red E/G light comes on and that's it.

Any ideas please.

Have tried cable that came with box + one with phone.
Have also tried with battery and mains as power supply.

Maybe the 9V battery doesn't work properly or is low battery...Did you tried with an adaptor??

I did say at the bottom :
Have also tried with battery and mains as power supply.

Have just tried a E1000 and this does the same.

Dont think its the box though as I did a V600, V500, A835 & T720i with no problems.

I only paid out the extra to get this box over a normal V clip because it is supposed to do the new phones.

Unlocking note
Unlocking newer versions of V18x/V22x/C65x/C38x/E375 or C975/C980/V980/E1000 (Boot Loader 0.6.1.2) may require additional user intervention.
It may happen that E/G led still blinks after display turns off - it means that you have to turn the phone ON manually within 2-3 seconds after display turns off; alternatively you can try to unlock this newer version of V18x/V22x/C65x/C38x/E375 with battery charger on.

This is not what is happening, as I said .. it goes into boot loader mode fine, the E/G light then goes red and thats it.
