8800 Sirroco flashing not working correctly - GSM-Forum

I have two pcs of RM-165, 8800. Back plate says 8800 Sirroco Gold.

When i'm flashing these, they miss all graphics.

Does anyone know to flash these phones properly? What flash files are needed?

I need language pack A.

Because i think you have only shirocco case, but the mainboard is simple 8800...

IMEI: 3524640077***x and 3522870104***

I had two seperate phones (different customers), both phones were labeled RM-165, 8800 Sirocco, and both had the same problem. It's very unlikely that both of them were fake or something like that. According to numberingplans.com one of them is 8800 Sirocco.

Anyway, i almost solved it after first flashing with normal RM13 8800 MCU+PPM+CNT, then ONLY MCU+PPM RM165. But gallery/themes was NOT like they should... There should be a golden theme i think, but i only got some ugly blue ones where menu text was hard to read.

So i would happy to know if someone know a true solution to this.

i got the same problem here.

sirroco gold with menu issues.

tried flashing a million times with different files and nothing..

flash CNT file with mt-box(same version)
i have a experiment :after flash 8800&8800d,i see to background ( ? ),& white background...but after reset factory by setting menu,set original theme,,maybe you help

Your phone is not 8800d your phone is 8800, Just flash with 800 (RM-13) flash files
