cheap basic nokia 1208 CAN'T unlock - GSM-Forum

Hi UB,
Nokia 1208
rh-106 v5.32
is a cheap and very basic phone

why can't it be unlocked with UB / patch??

i have attached screen shot

another phone can't unlock is nokia 2760 v6.83 ???

actually you need to learn few thinks before doing any work via UNIVERSALBOX

for dct-4+ phones like 1200/1208/1650/2630/2760/1680/ and others you need to check Software Version First
Example: you have 1208b RH-166 V.5.32, its means you need to check in Uni folder in this location (C:\UNI\Files\Nokia\Dct-4\Patch)
or check RH-166 Patch files which versions patch files available in patch folder, if V5.32 Patch file not Found in Patch Folder Just Flash with Available Patch files Versions,
after that you can unlock your phone very easy ;-)
