so, does w810i unlock work ok now, or is it still killing phones?

Also, what is CORRECT procedure to unlock it?

This is whats worked for me so far apart from W810i's on vodafone UK every other w810 has been ok
1st upgrade box
2nd unlock phone do not tick any of the boxes i.e smartcard or restore red
at this stage you will get an error at the end do not worry
3rd remove and re-attach battery and cable and flash ONLY SOFTWARE part of phone with smartcard ticked only! with same version on phone,this you see at the end of the 2nd step,
on completion you should have an unlocked working w810i

ah, i have vodafone uk w810i, will this box kill it if i try to unlock it?
