Nokia 6060 unlocking by code? - GSM-Forum

Can anyone tell me whether I can unlock 6060 using code. If so what asic and code # should I use. I dont have enough 6060 to try all codes, 6060 locked to optus Australia. I have universal box but dont have 6060 cable yet. Pls help.

1, Select ASIC 2.
2, Select provider or enter provider code.
3, Enter IMEI.
4, Press calculate button.

I have tried this and it doesn't work.
1. asic 2
2. country=australia, provider=singtel optus
3. enter imei
4. press calculate button
5. enter #pw+mastercode+1#

We have a suspicion about what could cause this problem. We have to further investigate this and try to solve as soon as possible. Thanks for info.

if u enter the codes five times wrong u may be able to unlock only with cable....

nokia 6060 unlock code can be calculated. Just use NokiaFree_v3.10_Nokia_unlockcode_calculator. and you have to use the Expert mode select the following .( Dtc4 expert only) , asic2 , asic6 then calculate ..all ok. unlock many phones.

1. enter IMEI
2. choose network
3. choose asic 6 for GEN
4. choose ASIC 2 for nokia model
5. click on 'get nokia DCT4 unlock codes'
6. enter '#pw.....+1#'

u live in sydney ??.. you give me imei no. , i'll generate one for you. 100 % working Australian Optus lock ( phone with NOT more than 5 unlock attempts).

This is a HW algo, and not depends on flash chip. Problem was with the box ID. Change it to 32822.

Thanks for the offer..I have unlocked all mine using online version. Also with the info from universalbox, I should be able to do them using the calculation from my box.

thanks a lot, it had work perfect with asic 2 and asic 6. If someone doesn't know, you can include new models in the crux calculator (to don't have to be sellecting all the settings everytime. Here you got the example with the 6060:
Following the images, open the Crux calculator and press options

Keep it in expert mode. Go to "Editor"

The best thing to do is to locate the new line in the correct place, by number order, to don't waste time searching for it on the list, be smart!
For the 6060, the previous number is the 6030a model. click on it and then press "new". a new line will be created.

Name your model, select the type (in these case DCT4), asic type (asic 2) ant the number of box serial (when you select on the first screen the settings in expert mode, automatically it gives you the box serial).

After that, press SAVe, and it will ask you to restart the program. Now you have the setting of the 6060 incuded in your list.
