My post here is to figure out how to unlock Sony Eric W900 (CID 49)?

it asks for testpoint but where is the image??

question can W900 be unlock now by UB by TP??? if yes, where to connect the TP needle to the cable or box? pls answer universalbox pls... cause the k750 cable has no TP needle...

Thanks AL, but my question is or does the needle NEEDED TO BE CONNECTED TO BOX OR CABLE and not where the TP is?? I know already where the TP was.. again thanks for help..

If the post is under "Universalbox Dongle" then usually people will assume it is the universalbox i am using.

Anyway, I have succeeded unlocking W900. There are 3 testpoints that need to be connected to any metal shield on the pcb then disconnected once program instructs you to disconnect.

easy.... the worst still remains LG 8360 for the test point

Handset unlocked perfectly. You just use the testpoint selection and connect the three testpoints to ground when program tells you to. Bit tricky at the resistor but apart from that...allow 5 mins to open handset, 10 mins for testpoints process and 5 mins to close handset back up. Mark the cable connectors to make sure you place them back into the correct sockets on the inside of the handset.

can you tell us which testpoint did you use? and does one TP do the trick or need at least three as mentioned by Cairnquay?? Thanks for reply Al..
