Read lock key fail with nokia e71 - GSM-Forum

I seem to have found out the problem with the latest e71 + firmware. The error universal box gives is

Read lock key fail [0x05] and a lot more numbers. I know this is a bug to be fixed soon, but I thought it would be useful to make the UB team aware of the problem.

Phone is a nokia E71-1 with firmware RM-346 300.21.012 18-06-2009

Did you try with another Version? if not then Downgrade Phone and Do Unlock again ,

no i cant downgrade..

jawad said there was a bug in the software which should be fixed soon, think im going to wait for the update

ı have same problem for my n85. and ı unlock to downgrade versiyon. unlock is succesfull. but phone is always restar or off. 5 min 10 min and ı dont understand. ı cant write pm because program says protected pm308. how to solve this problem? sorry my bad englih.

its a problem when youre trying to unlock an e71 with the latest firmware

because of this fw have sl3 structure also.

hi to all

all the last version from nokia for this moudle 5800,n85,e71, n96 ect have sl3 data and by the way before tow weeks ago i had 6120c it was not working i flashed with the last version 7.02 it back alive agian but it can goes to local mode i checked the cable and i used another cable but the same problem so my advice do not use the last frimware
