Universal Box Warranty Period

Universal Box Team, can you please clarify my situtation for me?

I used to have an old style box, which died 8-9 months after I bought it. Tough luck I though, however because the box did what was advertised and had a lot of support I was more than happy to buy another one. However....

My "new" box just died recently, 3.5 months after purchase. Is this still under warranty? There seems to be confusion among the forum on this. I've tried to find the answer but cannot. Does the warranty depend on the reseller?

I've heard 3 months and 6 months? Which is it? I recall the first box came with 6 months.

If its 3 months then it looks like the Universal Team has finally lost me as a customer. Paying for 2 boxes then having them both die prematurely is not fair!

If its 6 months, then why is my reseller saying that its only 3 months?

Hi Guys,

I bought my UB in Feb 2007 (3 months from now) and now my box is on its way back to the supplier. I wrote to my supplier regarding my box and they said there is only 3 months warrenty but they give me a chance... so i fill in their cliam form and sent it back by FedEX. (cost me £53).

Regards
