Update wont complete - GSM-Forum

ive just installed Uni Box on laptop with windows XP, when i try to update main program all goes ok til the latest exe is downloaded and installed. when Uni Box should restart after receiving latest exe it fails to open again and as a result the update is never allplied

any ideas ?

it could be your virus checker stopping it installing because of the protection on the .exe. if you add the X:\uni folder to your virus checkers exceptions list it may help you.

Disable antivirus and do update again , because antivirus doesn't allow to update

thanks for the replies peeps, problem still remains :/

ive added exceptions for uni.exe and uni_update.exe in my firewall, also excluded folder from my antivirus... then disabled both of them briefly to see if it altered things but no :/

also selected a server on the network tab

pc still downloads the updated exe, installs it, then attempts to restart after install but uni never actually restarts, just closes ???

any other ideas anyone ??

it is 100% anti virus /firewall problem, just try to Uninstall your anti virus/firewall or check again i'm 100% sure after that solve your problem
