What is "10P10C to 8P8C adaptor 1 pc."

Dear UB team

what is 10P10C to 8P8C adaptor 1 pc. (I did not get like this when I buy UB)

Is it a converter that I can use 7 pin cable to UB box.

Or can I connect 7 pin cable directly to ub box.

If I connect 7 pin cable , then are U sure it will not damage the box port that have 10 pin.

Regards.
