6101 Contact Service after IMEI change - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I got a problem when i change IMEI on 6101, phone get Contact Service.

i used :

- software v1.42

- 6101 v3.35

First phone boot (after write IMEI) is work for about 20 sec, and going in Contact Service. And after its always go in Contact service.

Can someone tell me what i need to do to can change IMEI without getting Contact service ?

Yes, you are right mate. We all need confirmation from DCT4Direct team : work or not paching Nokia 6101 without problems, or we must wait new update.(hope soon will be added)

i think need new beta version
well about contact service can be possible to solve the probleme by writing good pm

if u have com\ntact service after imei change,just write the flash file

i thing you naeed do write pm and do unlock try i thing that is good

i think you must to erase full flash then write full flash if not ready you must buy rpl for slove this problem

the date of thread do not really mater.some people arround the world are still using some old phones.it can be in the car for example as hands free.and still very important 2 help.and i still got customers looking for that specific models.
