DCT4 Direct Problems

Dear users,

There are 2 diff possible problems with the box:

1. Software bugs known to us:

- 9500, 9300 - no network after change (to be tested and eventually fixed
if possible)

- somebody mentioned 6510 Contact service after change, to be fixed if
anyone can confirm the CS reason

- somebody reported problems running the box together with Twister, to be
tested and fixed in next version

- not working patch on phones derived from 1100 source tree - no solution
for now, the first 1 Mb of the flash is protected against patching

- program crashing, or showing critical exeption message, usually when
the phone is plugged while the soft is running. To be fixed. Temp fix - click
power everytime you plug a new phone while soft is running

If other reported, will try to fix as fast as possible.

2. Problems with the HW:

- all type of sw not loading, communication errors 0x2xx with the phone,
not rebuilding simlocks etc.

- other errors not mentioned here.

For these errors you have to complain to your reseller/manufacturer. Since
the product require quality parts and assembly, its possible that some boxes
do not operate properly due to faulty components, errors in assembly etc.

About the price - this product was sold for 5 digit sum just few months ago.
We don't force anyone to buy DCT4 Direct, now after 6 months it's no longer
so unique and 'precious' and other alternatives are available, please search
the forum for other choices.

For people that expressed opinion about the quality of the project:
It took 1 year and the hard work of 4 programmers to make this product
possible. It's easy to talk bad things when changing imei is so easy now,
do not forget it was impossible for 3 years ! And still is for WD2, TIKU and BB5!

as far as i see on the screenshot now it is possible to read the UEM IMEI number fantastic job, but i couldn't find this "JuniorJack"-loader in my phoenix installation

OMG, even the author confese the lameness of this box!

Wow, using low quality components and assembly, then sell them at high price and deliver them to the *******r. you must be joking, now it's clear that you wanna get quick $$$.

I hope you really work hard on the Bug Fixes!!! Remember, it's not other ppl who talk about the quality of your project and Box, but it's your work that talks...

try to do better working
maybe u can try to make one solution like this as example.........
so really i am happy about this hardwork and i think u dont know nothing about what u are talking here .

i think we need better support and some improvement

i have tested precious box and have do good job
that was the first Device

so i think existed here little mistacke

try plz to searche button next time that will be cool .

Whence at you (dct4 direct v1,40 beta)

Try adding 6220 standalone without need to convert to another model - too
many problems with this method and many of these phones around.

I speak the reality only. Don't tell me that i don't know nothing since you can't read englush well.

I'm not the one who got to make solutions, are you telling your *******r to make his own solutions??? damm.

It is the responsibilty of the author to work very hard to make the bug fixing. not us (*******r).

i identified these faults ages ago, bout 25 seconds after getting my box, and STILL there is no working fix, except for a completely CLEAN install, which most of us cant have cos we need the likes of jaf, twister etc etc on our systems as well as dct4 direct

u need someone who's going to be on here most of the day, who uses the box alot, and can supply flashes and everything else....

you also need to let beta testers have more time beta testing before releasing new update, then maybe bugs can get fixed and sorted early enough...

just my view like
