My DCT4 Direct don't work. - GSM-Forum

Hi alls,

I bought a DCT4 Direct Unlock, I downloaded the version 1.38 to my Hard Disk, after that, I instaled the drivers,then I conect the box to the original Nokia charger and lights POWER and USB turn on, but when I open the software, I can see it in the screen of my computer,but it go out inmidiatly.
Please somebody can tell me what its my problem, how can I do to solve it?

try to reinstall the driver .........
or u have not the right charger .
scheck pls u hardware manager .......

Hi Don Carlo,

I'm using the original travel charger for Nokias Phones, model ACP 12X; is this the correct charger for DCT4? Or I need to use other charger type?

yes make sure charger is only Nokia ACP 12X, others will give problems, trust me, i have had this problem also.

u can try to put
input : 120V 60 Hz 80mA
output: 6V 600mA

also, check u dont have ufs/twsite installed, if so, uninstall their usb drivers

I have nokia 3200.
Starts up to logo thereto is blocked.
As software have nokia dct4 service the software.
For 3200 the maul am necessary the another si files?

please only use ACP12x charger for power, best to check on a clean pc, if you have another pc with XP and no other gsm soft installed, i hear ufs driver can conflict, for me i have all working togeather on my pc, but it sounds like a driver problem. we will look into this to check it out but i dont think there is.

for everyone who is using dct4 direct
-1 clean your computer by reformating
-2 load win xp preferable
-3 input : 120V 60 Hz 80mA output: 6V 600 or 800mA your original nokia charger as power supply
-4 install your box correctely
-5 run box

i use a 7.5v power supply with plenty juice

works fine for me
