problem with nokia 3510 using DCT4 direct

I have a problem with Nokia 3510 using DCT4 direct. It says " Restarting ASIC....error.." and it stops at 85%. I have tried a few different versions and still the same. Does anyone have any tips for that. I have successfully done Nokia 5140.

So? it errors at restarting the asic, big deal, just connect to ufs etc, and unlock the fone, voila, all working and ok

Friends, may be I forgot to mention that I wasn't tryingn to unlock the phone but repairing IMEI. Every time it stops at 85%, the phone is dead and I have to use twister to flash it back.

No mate, its not, just read it with twister, and you will see the simlocks are all corrupted, just unlock it using twister, and all is ok

When the simlock is corrupted, twister cannot unlock it. It always says " simlock fails".

Then use jaf

I have this problem alot with DCT4, but everytime, i connect to my Twister box or Jaf, and then read the phone, i see that the simlocks are all knackered and then i make init locks, after that, all is sorted, working, no contact service and full signal?!

If that STILL doesnt work, try pressing the power button during the last part of the job, that sometimes helps too!
