|  Questions Hi, can the techincal team help me on this? 1. Can I change IMEI for phone that of different version? - If yes, how to do it? Do I need extra harware & software? 2. If resulted in dead phone, how to re-flash the phone with the correct version? where to get the flash file? 3. Internal Box number increase: - what is it? - Is there a limit set for the change? 4. In the latest beta(1.39), there's patch file section, - what is it use for? - How to use it? Sorry that I asked such basic questions here, Presently, waiting for my Direct 4 to arrive. Hope to gather as much info as possible, before start using the product. |

| Hello you can change all imei nummber in supported listed models. http://www.dct4-direct.net/supportedmodels.htm DCT4 Direct make direct patching dont need patch file or somthing like that . The phone should have the exactly flash file before using DCT4 Direct you need one flashing device that u can flash u phone ready for DCT4 Direct. DCT4 Direct have one counter but that mean not that you have limited account for patching All the flash files are availabel for supported models by DCT 4 direct and are also to get from Official resseller dont verget u resseller should have allway support. how to get your box working: 1-preferable systeme is windows XP sp2 2-Connect you box and install the driver. after installing driver the RED LED should be ON how to patch or how to use : 1-Connect you nokia charger GREEN LED is ON 2-Connect USB cable RED LED is ON 3-Connect you phone by RJ45 port for local mode modus 4-press ¨¨scheck ¨¨ botton 5-WRITE botton active your phone is ready for the procedure . 6-patch your phone voila u phone have new imei nummber  After the patching procedure u can reflash the ppm (longuage package) If you want to bring the phone back to it's original state, then you only need to flash the phone with original MCU software. | Really appreaciate your advise. It is very helpful. I have a Nokia 6100 but the version is V05.16 (NPL-2). It is not the same as in the supported version. Does that mean I need to buy Flash device like Griffin or powerflasher, inorder to change the version to v 5.80 ? |

| Hello surly you need any device flasher that can flash all dct4 models like UFS as example that will be ok have comfortable price included good support. B.R |
