sst box one problem during instalation? - GSM-Forum

hi....i get one sst box and i having trouble instaling it...i install sst7.51 and driver for sst box one...when i trz to install box one this is what i get....
an error ocurred during the instalation of the device...a service instalation section in this INF is invalid.... i choose manual instal drivers and set to sst cable drivers......maybe i doing something wrong...but get message that install drivers for sst box one and then arror above....how to solve this problem? my bussines is in stop...i need solution urgently...thnx

I had same problem. Follow this:

- In Device manager find SST BoxOne (it have yellow exclamation mark)
- Right click -> Update driver
- No, not this time -> Next
- Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) -> Next
- Don't search. I will choose the driver to install. -> Next
- Have disk... -> Browse... -> here find file 'box1pl.inf' in folder 'Program Files\SST-GSM\SST Cable drivers' -> Open -> OK
- now under Model select 'SST BoxOne Version 2.0.2.1 (25.07.05.)'

After that just follow installation procedure

Now question for SST Team - which one is new driver for box (both shown in device model list):

- SST BoxOne Version 2.0.0.19 (03.08.05.)
- SST BoxOne Version 2.0.2.1 (25.07.05.)

Pay attention to version number and the date of the drivers?

Today received my sst boxone upgrade,installed sucsesufull driver,put old dongle in new box and now i can start ver.7.51,always error:USB Dongle not find!!!

Download SST software version for old dongle:

Here same problem. After instaling SST v7.51 for boxone I get only error (USB Dongle not find). When uninstal and instal v7.51 for dongle can use only dongle... Can't use box... Please any idea how to repair this.

Just make thinks clearer.
There are new SST BoxOne box that can work with the old SST Dongle and BoxOne Dongle that is shipped with the new full set.
There are for now 2 version of the software (both supporting SST BoxOne-the box)
1.SST v7.51 for SST Dongle
2.SST v7.51 for SST BoxOne Dongle ( this version will be needed for our new custumers that buy the full set box and cable and dongle all branded as "BoxOne".
For convinience we shall try to make one executable that will automatically detect the attached dongle.But this in some future releases. For now in v 7.60 we plan to add EGOLD test-point support for BoxOne boxes so there will be no more need to cut tracks for EGOLD models
