SST V7.40 and A70 - GSM-Forum

unlock a70 on sst V7.40 work fine but Flash no !!
after laste update i see sst lose flash fonction
i Flash (4 pcs) a70 Still dead ( 2pcs) C75 olso (1pcs)C72
but when i use V6.86 after Flash mobile work fine
i hope you fix this bug soon as possibel

I try to revieve a70 with sst 7.40 whitout succes... so this is the problem....

After Last update there is one change in flashing function:
"flash firmware area only" which is set at default. So when the customers flash the phone for example for downgrade/upgrade or FFS reset it will protect the phone EEPROM memory.
But if you want to flash a dead phone please remove the checkbox selection and it will work just like the privious version of SST
As we see that some of our users do not understand the new feature we shall create a special sticky topic describing it.

i knwo that freind last update its' not like old version
like for Flash A60 C55 C60 A56 no need to do press repair Boutton

but for new model like A70 or C75 C72 ( dead phone , you tel "flash firmware area only" i do that same thing mobile still dead !! so pleas try to find dead seimesne and try you will see
like i say before tou SST-GSM i recive more than 20 or 30 Seimense /week
so it's easy to learn if i am new

When you want to repair a dead phone it is important to leave "flash firmware area only" checkbox unchecked!!!

If you want that SST work like previous version please do the following with the checkboxes neer the buttons:
1. "flash firmware only - not set
2. "Calculate EEPROM area" set
