Strange A70 - GSM-Forum

A 70 (tp cutted) V13, flashed to v14, and the phone was blinking. Flashed back to v13, at the end of the flashing , the phone asking for POWER ON, Entering boot mode.... and acts if TP is NOT cutted, no matter what I do.
And TP is CUTTED for sure, I cutted it a week ago when I unlocked it. Othervise I could not flash to V14.

??????????

some Suggestions????

Or should I change flash IC? It is the same as A55?
.... the phone is completly dead...

flash phone with full flash at 115k and do repair,
becouse there is bug for fast flashing in latest version 6.81
or wait bug fixed version.

some Suggestions????

First try to repair the phone at lower speed.
Use the latest version of our software.
Open the phone and make sure that the track is really cut.

That is the strange! The cut. It was made a week ago, for unlocking, and the customer used the phoone a week. After it came back for language changeing and you know the rest. And now it acts like it were not cut at all. Of course I tried at lover speed,with the new SST, and I checked the cut.

It is possible that 6.80 had a bug , and erased somehow the phones bootcore when fullflashing, corrected later in the 6.82?

A55 or A65 has compatible flashIC with A70 ?

I will post once again for language changing please use fast languge feature. It takes less than 30 sek at 115k .
When the test-point is cut for the bootloader is used BOOTROM instead of the bootcore flash area.So it is not possible to erase this area.
Can you also tell us where the status indicator stops?
If it stops at the 2/3 th of the progess it indicate for a hardware damage in the RAM IC.
About the compitable flash ics.there phones with compitable flash ics like A60 and etc but i think that in you problem the fault is not in the flash ic

The indicator stops at 50 %. A60 endeed has the same Flash IC.

I used the fast language change feature, but I had Lang 03 only V14, and the phone was V13. I flashed only the lang, but the phone only blinked. Than I flashed with full flash V14. The phone blinked. I flashed to v16. The phone blinked. I made a v13 backup from another phone, and flashed with it, and since thanm the well known story. Don't missunderstund me, I know it is a cheap phone, I'm not so interested for the phone, but the situation that bothers me. And I'm afraid it could happen with other phones too.

BTW. Today I looked to the TP with a microscope too, and it is well cutted.
