Member: 8303 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 127 | hi, you cannot downgrade your 5800... old dejan's method of downgrading bb5 phone is corrupting a subblock in pm 308... and in newer BB5 phones, you cannot edit pm 308 so downgrading will fail and so does unlocking using cineks method... |

You need proper hardware to write the PM fields 120 / 308 to do this. I succeeded and posted a guide on My Blog. Bottomline - Dont even attempt this without proper hardware ! |

Member: 870664 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1614707 Thanks Meter: 56 | i've downdraded a N96 before from 30.101 to 12... and the phone have the security corrupted, so i repaired with mx so the downgrade process go well if it's to it's original version and then repair with a good tool |
