How do I unlock LG with my HWK? - GSM-Forum

I have the latest HWK installer and I load the UFS_LG_GSM and select my phone model L1150 and then click Boot it doesnt do anything.

Can someone please tell me what cable I need to use and exactly what I need to do, I cannot find a manual anywhere.

My reseller does not give me help, He hardly speaks english and don't answer my emails.

My HWK works perfect for Samsung ;o)

You should do it w/o battery and when its saying booting press and hold pwr it will boot and You can do with it everything

There are 3 LG cables that came with my HWK Cable Set.

Which one do I use?

i use Lg GSM 24 pin for this phone i think

I am now trying to use the 24 pin cable and I have the phone connected without the battery.

I try to boot and a few seconds later nothing happens and the Boot button is clickable again.

It doesnt display any message in the software window, The phone displays "Please Insert Battery"

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I tried pressing and holding the power button after I click Boot and that doesn't work either, The phone will show the startup logo then it will go blank and display "Please Insert Battery".

put the battery back in then!

from experience, this can take several attempts before it recognises the phone!

I hate the HWK thing, It never detects ANY nokia phone, The only thing have been able to unlock is samsung.

I have to use my phoenix black box so I can unlock nokia's

I have emailed the reseller many times and they dont know what to tell me, I have the Tornado UFS-3 with HWK.

HWK = JUNK

No instructions & No support.

What kinda product is that?!?

I have no problems with nokia phones or LG to! Maybe your Nokia cables are not original. For LG you cannt use LG 3G cables. I use cable for LG 7020 and boot/unlock at speed 11500 and I have'nt any problems at all!

I havent done L1150 but sum 3310 2050 and others - always w/o battery (when im instering cable led pwring up) then Im chossing model and press boot ... after 5-10 sec of Idle -> boot then just press pwr on and hold few sec till it display imei and few other things

Using hwkiller ufssuit 3.0.1

there are so many variables. the first and more foremost are cables then the pc u are using.. then after problems occurs.. perhaps we may ask product supporter what they had n on what pc specs/os they had made the programs..... this is very necessary...
