Convertor Cable for BB5 local & Test Mode


1-R1=5.1K
2-R2=7.5K
3-2# RG45 Conectors Rj8 two
4-network cables 4 pairs
5-common network connector

after that you have two output one for the devices that working with 5.1k
5300-5500-6125-6131-6233-6270-6280-6630-6680-6681-6682-7370-E50-E60-E70-N70-N73-N90

another one working with a devices that working with 7.5K like:
3250-E61-N71-N80-N91-N93

also u have to open all your bb5 cables and remove the bsi resistor then make a short circuit.

because if u use this usufull adapter with ur bb5 cable like it is, u'll have two resistors in serial, one of the adapter R1 and the second that was originaly in cable R2 so the impedance will be more than the wanted value. it will be (R1+R2)

in case u wanna use this adapter, u have to modify the cable u want to use with, by opening the cable, remove the resistor (R2) that is atached to bsi and solder the wire directly to bsi.
