F210 rj45 cable problem - GSM-Forum

Hello,
I am trying to unlock an F210 using an E210 cable but the casing is too wide to fit in an F210. Does anyone have any tricks or tips to get round this problem?

its the right cable. check make sure its not damaged in some way you do not want to force it and break something

Hello,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately the casing around the cable (E210 Nspro) is too large to fit into the socket of an F210 due to the way the usb entry is set back in the frame of the handset. The normal usb cable has smaller casing around it and will fit okay.

Hello,
I am very daft. After hours messing around I have just realised that the metal bit at the end slips off so you can put the cable in. Sorry to have been a bother.
