IMEI corrupted - GSM-Forum

Hi dear mates I am facing a problem with a 6300 rm-222 phone. I got this phone with a frezzing nokia logo and the first thing I did was flashing it (Before doin anything I back up 0-400, 120, 308 pm files; besides Rd Cert and Rd PP) after flashing what I got is imei corrupted. Try restoring all data back it up and the same problem imei corrupted,

Look at the pic, how may I solve this issue?

One more info, as you can see in software windows it reads rm-217 but in phone's label is rm-222 it became into rm-217 after flashing but I think the firmwares are compatible, Am I right?

You need rpl for this phone... Thats the way....

Bro!

You have mistakenly flashed 6300b (RM-222) with 6300 (RM-217).

Try again by flashing with RM-222 and see what happens.

But at last, you might need to write RPL.

Ok I will try but it means that all back up are worthless even if they are right?

all back up is before wrong flashing i thank that is not worthless
try to reflash i think all will be ok

Bro in my first post I wrote down that I made all back ups before flashing and I have them all beforing making any test,

I flash it again with right mcu, I use rm-217 but no way to solve imei problem. I think I will need rpl file

I certanly did it, all was written without any problem but still the error.

mate flash it using RM-222 flash files. then do SX4 authoriation & restore UR PM & RPL file backup. i think it will solve ur problem
