LG GS290 (aka Cookie Fresh) [Infineon] - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone,

I purchased a HWK uFs Micro Box 2 years ago and I am still pretty much of a novice, but I have been reading this forum for hours (lots of information) and have yet to find anything related to the phone I am trying to unlock) - so I wonder if any of you professionals out there can give me a hand.

This is my own phone, by the way. I bought the box mainly for myself (my contract gives me a new phone every year) - usually the old ones go to relatives once I obtain the new equipment. So far I have unlocked only NOKIA phones; and the LG_GSM application is completely different. As such I ask for some patience; try to remember that I unlock like 1 or 2 phones a year; hence my ignorance.

Moving forward, I presume this is an INFINEON based model per what I have read so far. In the LG_GSM Application I do not see GS290 listed on any of the tabs; including "IF" of course.

Is this model supported by the box at all?
Can someone let me know where I may find step-by-step information to unlock an LG on HWK?
I just want to remove the SPLOCK/SIMLOCK on it (do not want to flash it or anything if it can be avoided of course).

I believe I am using the latest version of everything but here it goes in case you need it to help me out:

LG-Sharp GSM Tools: v2.1.0.4
UFSx Boot: v2.2
UFS Firmware: v2.8
UFS Software Suite: v02.10.007

LG GS290 is not supported at the moment, you can see a list of supported phones here:-

Unlocking is different for each of the different LG platforms, but most of the time its just as simple as clicking unlock.
