n96 BIG PROBLEM

Flashed with 30.33 now the phone powers up to a blank screen with the upper keypad light on.

The phone was flashed successfully with no problems and i even unlocked it but after powering the phone it displays a blank screen.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Kind Regards

br.

I was planning om downgrading but iv seen posts where people have done this and KILLED the N96.

I think the n96 is like the 6680 when you flash it. If you try and flash the 6680 you get white screen with nokia logo fading out and the solution to the 6680 is to keep on flashing it until you get a heart beat.

Kind Regards

Please confirm these files are the correct files to flash the N96...

MCU= RM-247_30.033_prd.core.fpsz

PPM= RM-247_30.033__001.1_prd.language.fpsx

CNT= RM-247_30.033_100.1prd.uda.fpsx

Kind Regards

It seems as tho you cant flash the N96 with MCU PPM CNT like most phones.

I think the N96 has to be flashed with CUS and ENO also.

So you flash it with 4 parts not 3.

But where can i get all 4 flash files from????? I can get MCU PPM CNT and CUS but ENO is not present in common files/nokia.

The firmware on the phone is now 30.101 and that means that ENO must be of the same version? so where can i get this ENO version from?

Kind Regards

@ LOCKED4EVER

in my experience, the n96 brand H3G have different protection in the pm 308 I am I have always repaired with brand H3G firmware then use the last of your product code in Italy is the latest V21 and that shelter them and not are blocked in Italy, also in dead usb con phoenix

if you do self test something damaged...

before resorting to always check the hardware portion of the software with a self-test with flash or repair

if you have security backup / .rpl,

full erase it, reset npc and flash to original version. if ur phone got local mode, restore ur rpl backup.

ur phone will be back.

Full erase only needed if it was a bad flash. HWK flashes n96 with no errors in log so it must be something else that maybe im not ticking.

Its not a hardware issue as the phone is now working by another flashing box.

Kind Regards

Some phone use ENO file,some phone not,as I told you in cyclone option {Idon't know who remove my post}_if you flash your phone ok with some boxs but phone still black,flash it again by phoenix with usb cable.I did many N96.N97...flash ok with hwk,mt,mx-key,jaf...the display apperiance local mode but when I put the batery in,phone doesn't work.
Now try to flash your phone with phoenix {choise DEAD USB}_don't EARSE_don't use ENO file.
This only my suggess,if you feel to trust,do it_ if not don't do anything.
goodluck
