Nokia 1650 Dead - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone,

I have a 1650, i tried to upgrade to phone from 4.11 to 5.06, I only did flashing of MCU+PPM. Now I cannot read the phone anymore with NBOX+HWK.

Any suggestion?

erase full flash-then flash with mcu+ppm+cnt and after that write good pm.all will be ok

flash with same version it was before flashing i.e. is 4.11. with MCU+PPM+CNT.

Hi everyone,

Thanks, for all your advice.

First: The phone doesn't boot, I tried the info button, nothing, tried the read PM button, nothing. That is the problem, so I don't have any log for you. The phone just doesn't boot anymore. I did not try full erase yet, because i cannot read the PM from the phone.

Any other suggestion?

I have erased flashed. I read a PM from another good 1650.

Erasing went ok.

Flashing also went ok:

what you are doing ? do you have a good information how to flash a nokia phone ?

first you have not flashed the mcu part (bad image file )

how do you expect to read the pm when the phone is dead ?

first choose the mcu file wich end by 0 (biggest file size) rm305_05.060
second choose ppm normally yours is correct rm305_05.06ic as example
third choose cnt file rm3050_nai5.06ic (same as ppm)

finally press flash

after that write pm

F164, it works, I did complete flashing, MCU+PPM+CNT, write PM of another good 1650 and do complete UI settings. The phone is now working perfect.
