@ Odia, no disrespect, but dont you guys think we've already paid enough for the hwk as it is? I mean if it were a fact that u were going to be doing bb5 unlocking, then mate, trust me, i'd be first in the queue, and would fully expect a paid update, but as thats not a reality YET i think that it should be at least a CHEAP update for existing hwk users and then a futher price added on to new hwk sales for bb5 activation, pretty much like jaf

Now you got Mr. Odia's point of view in his last post, update containing BB5 Unlocking will not be free even for HWK owners and next paid update will be Nokia N-Series Unlocking & Flashing.

Ahhaa... I preffer to be a CellSmith instead of GoldSmith, here is more money.

Someone else that obviously cant read, cos Odia clearly states that BB5 update WILL be chargeable, but doesnt know if that will include unlocking, oh, and he says NOTHING about new N series flash/unlock, think before you post!

At which point did i say that i wanted the BB5 unlock update to be Free or even cheap? I'm well aware just how much the solution is worth, again, read properly before posting, or, even better, spend less time posting rubbish like that and more time getting stock out to customers....

If you had read the posts right you would have found that this is not what people bicker about..

The thing people are confused about is whether they will have to pay 200 USD for a HWK with "future support" and then finding themselves being made to pay even more money for the BB5 FLASHING features (NOT unlocking) even though they have just paid 200 USD..

Or to put it simply. They find it unfair to have to pay 200USD for a HWK and then maybe they have to pay XX USD in a couple of months for activation of BB5 flashing features..

It has allready been stated that the user WILL have to have a HWK to even be able to get the BB5 update so it is not even possible to just buy the BB5 update when it is released. (Setool users allready have all features of HWK so they only "need" BB5 features to be fully HWK compatible)...

Someone else who is obviously having an over_reading_capability consider it a clear statement...

Its not been decided if BB5 will be a paid update or not, but 100% the HWK will be at least required.

Odia.
There are so many things which are neither told nor stated but predictable. So “Paid Update for N-Series” is my prediction and a good idea for UFS authors.

[glow=red]- Ok, since HWK is the key for the new platforms for Sarasboxes about BB5 FLASHING it must and will be free update for HWK customer.[/glow]
Fair is Fair!

-For BB5 Unlocking and Nseries (...and X and Y series) --> well this will depend of course on the moment of release and market situation.

But nobody can forsee the future, and is better to let the author work and when he succeed with somethin nice, then it is also worth to talk so much about it ... anything else is emtpy talks

regards,
Gobi

Well i'm not even considering buying HWK until it supports BB5. I'm in no rush as I've just bought a JAF box for BB5 flashing and DCT4 IMEI change.

Well, the fair move i think will be (if bb5 unlock will be reality) releasing the smartcard protection for it, same addon like hwk, but of course price, much higher than HWK.
