Hi,

I have tried almost all W660 main flash files on Saras support and none is accepted as valid main for simox's vkp patch generator. Anybody knows why?
Had to get same firmware from other sources in order to generate the needed simlock patch.

Also, it's very difficult to find the necessary CUST file and risky as you have to match a RxA cust with a RxB main to get it work at all.
Can anybody get this section in order? meaning correct .bib file for every main .bin? as it has been done for KZF section...

Because the SE flash files on support are encrypted.

The same files can be used with different firmware from different regions but with different customise, if all the files where packed together it would mean more space used on the server, plus users would end up downloading duplicate files for no reason, its easy to know which files are required all are listed in the service manual, plus if you do not want to change the region all the cxc names are listed on the service menu in the phone.

Why not add un-encrypted firmware on support?
