REQ->FBI Process - Box Auth Error 20 

DO NOT, perform this process unless you have Box Auth Error 20, update client reports "use Update Firmware to authorise UFS !" or you are advised to do so.

1. Run the update client.
2. Select your language.
3. Click "Next".
4. Wait until the "Update UFS Firmware" button is enabled and then click it.
5. Select req.fbi file, you will need to get this file from the support area.
6. After a few seconds the process will complete and create a file called xxxxxx.req. (where xxxxxx is your UFS serial number)
7. Send this file to your UFS reseller.
8. When you receive xxxxxx.fbi from your UFS reseller, perform steps 1-4 above.
9. Select xxxxxx.fbi
10. After a few seconds your box will be authorised.

Your UFS reseller is the only person who can help with this process, do not ask here in the forum, we will not generate xxxxxx.fbi files for you.

NOTES:-

1. the xxxxxx.fbi file sent by your UFS reseller is one time use only.
2. once you have made the xxxxxx.req file, do not perform any other steps on the box, since this will cause the xxxxxx.fbi file to be out of sync.

I had purchased my UFS with HWK (TEST) 2.5 years ago. That HWK was TEST and died. I purchased new HWK. It is working fine. But I suspect that may be my UFS is touched with third party tool. I am not sure but I do not trust that reseller. He was not official and I was not so know about HWK that time. He has also disappeared.

Now I want to update my UFS firmware with Req.fbi file in support area. I have downloaded that file. But you said that we need to send generated XXXXX.REQ file to reseller and he will give us XXXXX.FBI file. But my reseller has already closed his business. Now I am worried because I can't run with my UFS for 1 hour too. Although I have UFS Micro with me too, but I need both of them every now and then.

What could I do?

Do you have some problem with your UFS box, if not then I do not see why you are worried.

I have just read in forum that HWK with Clone Box or Third-Party-Affected Box will no longer work with future updates.

That is why I have raised these questions.

So the best advise I can give you, is that if your reseller is no longer available and your are worried on this situation is to buy a new box from an authorised reseller and make sure you ask all the questions which would settle your mind.
