strange 1208 contact service - GSM-Forum

i have 1208 which is in contact service mode
i have done full erase flashed with higher version after that written pm then unlocked but its is same but when i select normal mode in ufs it shows insert sim but while i switch on mobile with batt it shows contact service

any body had a working solutions for this type of problem pls post

I have a similar prob..with 1208 water logged shows Contact service wen batt. inserted....however if tried to go normal mode in ufs..show insert sim on phone display...attaching self test...

Bro!

As per your Selftest screenshot, problem could be in SIM IC. Remove it and check if solved.

If NOT, apply some paste on UEM and reheat it. As your phone is 1208, so you can give enough heat so that balls get re soldered on board.

In worst case, you may need to reball or change UEM. If you need to change UEM, you should also calculate cost of RPL

clean the mobile pcb with soap oil solution and ipa and rehot the cpu with good flex 100% ok

the phone has original display..however i have changed and tried to fix the prob but its da same issue...

its cable problem in most cases
u may modify ur 1100 fbus cable or use easy cable ur problem will be solved
