Member: 9248 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | help setting up sag dd i am having a problem setting up sagem dd box..i received this box without any s/w..i was told to download sag logger the read serial number of box then to register at support site to download main software..however when i run sag logger it says dongle not detected..is there a driver i have to download or is there a poblem with my lpt cable...please advise thanks in anticipation |

Member: 9248 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | response hi thanks for your prompt reply...i am using a desktop pc..is there any other way i can get serial number ..i have connected both lpt and usb cable and box powers on with blue light..still no response.. do i have to use a special lpt cable or just a standard one? thanks |

Of course standard LPT cable is enough. Please check LPT port setting in BIOS - we prefer to select LPT1, in ECP+EPP mode. Also, you can try on other PC too. Without successful connection between PC and box - S/N is useless. BR | |

Member: 128918 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 282 | smart clip and sagdd use standard LPT cables. u can check ur box at any other friends lab who got smart clip or sagdd. if same result on different aswell place then send him back the box who sent u. |
