Dear All,

I just bought a my501x with a prepaid card and a year subscription from the same provider, planning to use it for the 1 year card.
Just to find out that those bastards locked the phone so it can ONLY be used with their prepaid cards!!!
So now I´m trying to find out how it can be unlocked, and that took me here, where there seems to be alot of experts.
I know absolutely nothing about unlocking phones, so I was wondering if someone could help me how to get my phone unlocked?
I have a USB cable for the phone already, got the rar archivex3 pointed to from here, but was only able to find a 0.05b version of the Sagem Tools application.
Will I need this at all, and is this version sufficiant?
What is the procedure for unlocking, step by step?

1.Unlocking solution for my501X isn't released yet!
2.For feature unlocking of phone you need special hardware - SagDD box!
3.Better, after few days go to near to you gsm service where have this tool,
and your phone will be unlcoked!

Hello, I had my501c connected via SAGEM TOOL and I could read the following informations
IMEI = 359241004295454
Firmware = 737942015806
Type = LA5,IF: 1737
Date = 29/06/06
0X78 = 022AD205017224FFFFFFFF6C28056C28056C28056C2805A803

But now what should I do to unlock the phone ? can some one help me out with some detailled instructions ?

Thanks for this very detailled information. I already took the control of the phone via software. Unfortunatly I am not yet to point I could remove the simlock.
If any of you has some advanced knowledge on such device and, of course willing to share it with other, I am sure many of the folks out there will appreciate.:)
