The second generation LoCosto MCU's (fixed boot bug) appear on market since two month's.
Seems Sagem SA factory currently release phones based on both MCU types but in same phone type, with same FW signatures.

List of phone where new MCU is already detected :
Sagem my433x, my421Z;
Vodafone 527, 533;

For phones based on new MCU SagemDD always return error message "Bootloader failed".
Maybe soon same problem will appear in other TI LoCosto based phones like :
Motorola, Alcatel, SE....
The single way to detect this new MCU is to open phone and check MCU labeling.
In attached pictures differences are shown:

just wait yet no solution exist for new security

How you decide that customer phone is EXACTLY LoCosto v2 based ?
Let's first help him to connect phone...

Hi

VF527 is LoCosto Base Sagem phone...
To unlock it you need USB-to-COM cable\adapter\interface or can use any third-party BOX which offering Virtual COM port service...
We prefer usage of AC101 cable type.. but you can use/made yours own (sch are in support area)
VF527 have 18 pin system connector (my700x type) , same as in VF226, my220x phones...

Connect cable between phone and PC (install OS drivers for cable/box if needed). Phone must be OFF.

Start SagemDD client and flow unlocking process as is explained in quick user manual : http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/atta...2&d=1208458248

Unlocking take 1 log!
